Is ‘Poldark’ season 3 filming done with Aidan Turner, cast?
Are we now officially waiting in the wings for “Poldark” season 3 to air? While there is going to be more work to be done between now and the show’s even premiere (whenever that may be), it does appear as though the filming portion of it is now complete.
For more evidence of this, just look at the photos below via the production company Mammoth Screen and then also producer Roopesh Parekh behind the scenes. If the show’s wrapping things up here, that means that they can move to the next stage in post-production. Episodes can be edited, actors like Aidan Turner and Eleanor Tomlinson can come in to do ADR work, and the proper music can be added for many of the scenes. This is where the footage becomes magic, and it is a key stepping stone to get us to the eventual premiere date, whenever that may be. There have certainly been plenty of rumors out there about that already, but we know better than to trust any of that. It’s better to wait for an official announcement.
As for what we DO know is coming on the third season, we’re prepared for Ross Poldark (Turner) to figure out his next moves in life after opting to not return to the battlefield. We know that he is committed now to trying to do right by his wife Demelza (Tomlinson) and his family, but what happens if he finds out that Elizabeth’s (Heida Reed) child is his? What sort of complications could that cause? Meanwhile, what’s next for him financially after a series of highs and lows? This is a show of many different complications, but a number of them ultimately circle back to the fact that this is a series where we do have real people dealing with struggles in the way real people would. There are few opportunities for anyone to get out of situations easily.
