‘Legends of Tomorrow’ season 2, episode 13 preview: We’re off to Camelot!

LegendsThere is a little bit of added significance in the next new episode of “Legends of Tomorrow.” After all, “Camelot/3000” is a reference to a comic-book series within the DC Universe, and we’re excited to see if there are any Easter eggs to it showing up.

If that’s not exciting enough for you, know this — we’re also going to be seeing several members of the JSA turning up in this installment, as well! Consider this great news for those of you who have missed seeing some of these characters turn up on the show.

Synopsis – “The Legends continue their quest to hunt down the Spear of Destiny before the pieces fall into the hands of the Legion of Doom. The Legends discover that pieces of the Spear are each being guarded in different time periods by members of the JSA. Their first stop is the future where they find Dr. Mid-Nite (guest star Kwesi Ameyaw) which eventually leads them to the past and King Arthur’s Camelot, where Stargirl (guest star Sarah Grey) is protecting her piece of the Spear. In order to protect the Spear shard from the now-evil Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill), the Legends must join forces with the Knights of the Round Table.”

It’s going to take us still a little bit of time in order to get used to the idea of Evil Rip, but hey, we’re glad that Darvill is going a wide array of different material this season after being the straight-laced Captain on the show in the first season. It also helps to tip the scales further, since the Legends are so skilled and can take out so many different opponents. Adding Rip to the mix with Eobard, Malcolm Merlyn, and Damien Darhk make this combination all the more formidable.

Promo – We’re not going to say that this necessarily gives a whole lot away when it comes to the story ahead on the show, but it looks AWESOME nonetheless. Who doesn’t love a few good medieval battle scenes?
