‘The Big Bang Theory’ teams up with ‘LEGO Batman’ for fun new opening

Big Bang Theory -

We love “The Big Bang Theory.” Meanwhile, we also love “LEGO Batman.” Therefore, there’s something fun about throwing the two together, right? The folks over at Warner Bros. TV seem to think so, since they’ve come up with a clever way to promote the upcoming movie featuring the Dark Knight (voiced by Will Arnett).

In you look below, you can see a recreated version of the classic theme song with LEGO versions of the characters thrown in there instead of the real-life Sheldon, Leonard, Penny, and others. This is going to be airing in the place of the regular theme during many syndicated repeats of the show this week. It’s certainly a smart way to have people thinking about LEGO in the wake of the upcoming movie.

Also, we’ve also got for you below some fun new versions of classic scenes, one where Batman has been included into the core cast. Think of this as a nice opportunity to get some superhero humor at a time when you could be feeling a little bit down.

One thing that is somewhat interesting to us at the moment is that there are effectively so many different versions of the Batman character now in popular culture, and each one of them fills their own space. For Serious Batman, you don’t have to look any further than the one that is existing over in DC Films with Ben Affleck in the role. Meanwhile, for Kid Batman you’ve got David Mazouz playing Bruce Wayne over on “Gotham.” (He’s not Batman yet, but he is certainly getting there.)

Meanwhile, these videos below are all about Arnett’s Fun Batman — this is a side of the character that his roots all the way back in the classic Adam West TV show, and we think that one of the reasons why this version works so well is that it harkens back to that era.

What do you think about these videos?
