‘Blue Bloods’ season 7, episode 15 preview: Robert Sean Leonard and ‘Lost Souls’

Blue Bloods season 7On Friday night’s new episode of “Blue Bloods,” we saw a case that spanned several different character storylines, and raised questions as to whether or not Frank was going to be willing to negotiate with gang leader Mario Hunt, a man he had very little goodwill towards because of a series of incidents in the past — ones that involved people that he cared about.

So where do we go from here? Think in terms of the next new episode “Lost Souls,” which has a great guest star on board in “House” alum Robert Sean Leonard. He will specifically be playing a murder suspected in Charles Beard, though there is not a whole lot more in the way of information out there about him yet.

Synopsis – “While investigating the murder of a man who killed a mother and son years earlier while driving drunk, Danny and Baez are torn between doing their job and finding justice after discovering the connection between the suspect and the victim. Also, Anthony is conflicted when Erin asks him to wear a wire to incriminate his old friend who is involved with the Russian mob.”

Sound like a classic “Blue Bloods” episode to anyone else? This seems to be doing what the show does best, which is present cases that tow the line between what is right and what is defined by the letter of the law. For Danny and Baez, the two are going to do their best in order to do the right thing, but what is the right thing when it comes to a case like this? What exactly do you do? It’s possible that Robert Sean Leonard is playing someone tied to this case, but like we said, it’s hard to know for certain.

As for the Anthony story, this is all about a guy having to separate his personal and his professional life. He obviously cares about his friends, but doesn’t he also care about his job? The thing that he clearly doesn’t want is to be put in a situation where he ends up getting found out, and as a result of that, much of the relationship that he has is suddenly severed.
