‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 13, episode 11 preview: Maggie’s mother; Owen / Amelia drama

Grey's 0

Tonight, “Grey’s Anatomy” came back to the Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital after spending a week over in prison, and with that, we certainly did not see any story start to slow down. Meredith searched for Alex Karev’s whereabouts, we dealt with another difficult case, and Dr. Eliza Minnick realized that she was going to have an uphill battle trying to get everyone at the hospital on the same page as her … and she had to thank for that a certain Richard Webber. This is not a man willing to let go of his control lightly.

Next week, the show’s going to be switching gears slightly once again. While we may be remaining at the hospital, we will be seeing in the process several new and rather difficult stories play out. Maggie’s going to have one of her most important plotlines that we’ve seen from the show in a rather long time, and you may get a chance to see the continued evolution of Owen and Amelia’s relationship.

Synopsis – “Maggie gets a surprise visit from her mother at the hospital. Bailey has to make a difficult decision when one of the attendings refuses to work with Eliza, and Stephanie gets caught up in Owen and Amelia’s personal drama.”

Yes, it’s official that things are not going to be getting any better for Minnick in the near future. Maybe this is something that she will figure out how to handle in due time, but for now, it feels abundantly clear that this is not something that the other doctors are going to be letting go of at any point in the near future.

Promo – You get a brief glimpse of Alex in here, but more than that you’re going to see tensions erupt between Meredith and Dr. Minnick … which further proves that she is really getting along with nobody at the moment.

One last statement: We hope that eventually the show doesn’t keep airing the promos during “Scandal” and forcing everyone to wait.
