‘The Bachelor’ spoilers: Nick Viall breaks down; are Corinne Olympios, Taylor Nolan both eliminated?

Tonight, “The Bachelor” gave you what was a romantic-at-times episode, but an explosive two-on-one date that felt very much like the one we had this past summer with JoJo Fletcher. Remember how the show tried to milk Chad Johnson sticking around for as long as humanly possible? Well, the show is doing something fairly similar now when it comes to Taylor Nolan.

At the end of the episode tonight, we saw Taylor pay another visit to Corinne Olympios and Nick Viall to speak her “truth” to him — basically, this means calling out Corinne, which is probably more for her own benefit since Nick’s heard it all before. We like to think that Nick is smarter than to actually be interested in picking her at the end. It’s certainly possible that she’s just getting drug along for the sake of causing drama.

The preview did its best to make it seem as though both of the two women could be sent home as a result of what Taylor had to say, but we’re not exactly sure that we believe that for one reason and one reason only — this is “The Bachelor.” This is not a show that has a tendency to speak the truth about what is coming in advance. We consider it to be very much likely that this is all a red herring for her sticking around and causing a little bit more trouble down the road.

Now, let’s just hope that we’re going to get a chance to see some other drama down the road beyond the antics of these two. After all, we don’t want the ENTIRE season to be defined by the actions of a couple of women who never seemed to have much of a chance at winning. The only thing that we know for sure from the promo that aired tonight is that we’re getting set to head to a tropical location … and that Nick is going to be breaking down at one point.
