New teasers: ‘Billions’ season 2, ‘Animal Kingdom’ season 2, and ‘Time After Time’

Billions season 2As we start to wrap up Sunday’s television coverage, why not end it by looking ahead at some other big shows that are bringing a lot to the table later this year? The following promos were all released over the past few days, and they should give you a lot to look forward to.

Rest assured, there aren’t too many major spoilers ahead — just some great stuff to enjoy.

Billions” – During the Showtime drama’s first season, we saw Chuck Rhoades do everything within his power in order to destroy the reputation of Bobby Axelrod, a Wall Street titan and opportunity if there ever was one. Now, the tables are turning into the second season as we’re going to see Axe do what he can to destroy Rhoades once and for all.

For those of who enjoy twists and turns, this season seems to be the perfect provider of that very thing.

“Animal Kingdom” – The second season of the show is coming this summer, and it’s absolutely going to be as complicated and dramatic as ever. The issue with this family is that things seem to be going wrong all of the time, and there doesn’t seen to be much of a break from that coming. In part, that’s because they have little desire to make things better for themselves.

“Time After Time” – This new series is coming to ABC on Sunday, March 5, and there is one reason in particular to be excited about it in Freddie Stroma. The former “UnREAL” star is fantastic, and here he is going to be playing H.G. Wells, who finds himself in need of traveling to the future in order to stop the world from Jack the Ripper. We have a feeling that this is someone who’s going to cause a great deal of trouble in the modern world.

Sure, there are seemingly time-travel shows on every network now, but as someone who enjoys the storytelling device, we have no problem with it. Also, Freddie Stroma.
