‘Crazy Ex-Girlfriend’ season 2 finale video: Will Rebecca, Josh actually get married?

Crazy Ex -

The finale of “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” is going to be on its way in a matter of just seven days … which seems like a lot when you’re getting a wedding. How do you make it to that point? Probably be watching the promo a hundred times and speculating as to what could possibly go wrong with Rebecca Bunch’s big day. (Here’s the answer: A lot. When has a TV wedding gone off the way it was first planned?)

So what will happen at the big ceremony? A few things, whether it be unexpected arrivals, possible second doubts, and of course someone considering screwing things up. Maybe we’ll get a conclusive ending, or maybe this is going to be something that Rachel Bloom and company put on ice until season 3 premieres. If it is the latter, we give the show HUGE props for having the courage to do something like that. Remember that was renewed for a third season recently; Bloom and the rest of the team likely weren’t sure what the show’s future would be at the time in which they wrote this.

Synopsis – “Rebecca’s (Rachel Bloom) father (guest star John Allen Nelson) makes a surprise appearance, which gets Rebecca’s hopes up for her future, while Josh (Vincent Rodriguez III) takes a hard look at himself. White Josh (guest star David Hull) and Darryl (Pete Gardner) find themselves at an unexpected crossroads.”

Don’t worry — even though there is a wedding and many other character matters to attend to, there will still be musical numbers, humor, and everything else is a staple of this show. It’s wacky, it’s silly, it’s relatable, and it is everything that you could want a show like this to be. Our main regret is that it is airing on Friday nights, but we realize that at the same time that is better than it not airing at all.
