‘Supernatural’ season 12, episode 9 video: Sam and Dean’s interrogation
On Thursday night’s winter premiere of “Supernatural,” you are going to effectively see the characters of Sam and Dean Winchester face off against one of their biggest foes that we’ve had a chance to see to date: A gross misunderstanding.
In the sneak peek below for the episode “First Blood,” what you have a chance to see are the brothers in a situation that they’re not as familiar with — they’re being interrogated, buy by a government official who thinks that they were trying to assassinate the President. At the end of “LOTUS,” the good news was that the brothers were able to exorcise Lucifer from the body of the most important person in America. Unfortunately, it’s hard to get the Secret Service to understand that. They just saw two people who looked as though they were threats.
What this official does not seem to realize is that compared to everything else that they’ve been through over the years, being interrogated and left to their own devices is really nothing. Sam and Dean should be able to soldier through this, and even potentially find help in due time. One of the things that the boy have going for them is that there are some people out there, whether it be Castiel or Mary, who will do what they can to get them out. Maybe they’ll be successful in their attempt, or maybe the brothers will find a way on their own.
No matter what we end up seeing transpire within this episode, the one thing we assume is that the brothers are going to make their way out of this eventually. They’ve just got to figure out what happens in the event that they do get out and the government is still looking for them. If two guys accused of trying to kill the President are on the lam, you gotta think that there will be photos of them all over the country — even in some of the seedy places that Sam and Dean tend to end up.
