‘Bones’ season 12, episode 5 preview: ‘The Tutor in the Tussle’

Bones -The final season of “Bones” is on it’s way and tonight the show gave us a story that really dove headfirst into Booth’s past, and at the same time, the relationship that existed between Aubrey and his father. Moving into next week’s new episode entitled “The Tutor in the Tussle,” we’re going to be seeing things switch gears once more, and this time around, more of the onus will be placed directly on what is happening in the present — including some issues that Brennan is having with an audiobook. That may not have all that much to do with an upcoming case, but it should be a nice little dose of humor (much  like we had tonight with her lecture about water parks and the amount of fecal matter in the water). The fact that she is successful enough to even have an audiobook is something that has to be commended in itself.

Synopsis – “When a tutor of privileged students turns up dead, the team sorts through all the possible perpetrators, from disgruntled parents to the tutor’s roommate with a criminal record. Meanwhile, Bones is frustrated with the voice of her audio book and tries to prove that she can record it herself.”

The case itself is mostly interesting because it sounds like one of those old-fashioned whodunnits — in other words, one of those things that this show is really great it. Over the course of the hour, you’ll get a chance to learn a thing or two more about the major players, and it absolutely sounds like there’s going to be a surprising number of suspects when you consider the fact that we’re talking about the death of a tutor here! Tutors are absolutely important, but they may not be the sort of person who you would imagine people would be targeting to kill.

Promo – Well, this looks gross — also, let’s not say that there is a lot in common between this and the synopsis that we just shared a little bit earlier.
