‘Gotham’ season 3, episode 13 video: Gordon questions one of Dwight’s minions

Gordon -Monday night’s new episode of “Gotham” is right around the corner, and judging from the trajectory of things so far, it may not require too much research to figure out that Jerome will be at the center of almost everything in Jim Gordon’s life.

What he knows in the sneak peek below is that Dwight has the proto-Joker’s body, and could be making his best effort with it to either bring it back to life (remember, Jim’s seem similar things before at this point) or use it as a rallying cry. That’s why it is so valuable for Jim to have one of Dwight’s disciplines for interrogation. In the sneak peek below, you can see him pressing hard in order to get answers, but the problem is that he’s not speaking to someone rational. Instead, it’s a Jerome-follower who embraces the madness and the anarchy, and someone who knows that even if Gordon stops him, someone else will rise in his place.

His ultimate warning to Gordon is rather terrifying: There are so many more followers out there of Jerome’s “teachings” than he even realizes.

With this sneak peek in mind, Gordon in this episode is going to have to scramble to cut off the head of the sneak — which, at the moment, is Dwight. If Jerome is revived, that very much changes. Either way, he’s got his work cut out for him given that Jerome is the most unpredictable of the city’s villains. He attacks often without rhyme or reason, and the only thing he may be able to predict is that he wants to destroy Bruce Wayne, a mission that foiled him while he was last alive.

If this episode turns out in any way like the one we had on this past Monday, we’re in for a wild ride — and also one that will probably carry over into one heck of a great episode of January 30. That’s the last chapter for the show until it returns in the spring.
