‘Blindspot’ season 2, episode 13 preview: Shepherd’s true identity, history with Weller revealed
Let’s go ahead and start this particular “Blindspot” article by getting some of the bad news out of the way: There is no new episode of the show airing on NBC next week. The show is taking a little bit of time off the air, but when it does return, you better believe that it’s going to be delivering some great stuff in the middle of the February sweeps.
The next new episode is airing on Wednesday, February 8, and the title for it is “Name Not One Man.” While that all is well and good, it may be some of the other details on this story that have your interest piqued as we got into this next little period of uncertainty.
Synopsis – “The team gets a major break in the Sandstorm case when they discover Shepherd’s (Michelle Hurd) true identity… and a decades-old connection between her and Weller (Sullivan Stapleton).”
Is Weller going to be in jeopardy as a result of this secret coming out? It all depends on how you choose to define “jeopardy.” The silver lining when it comes to his own public safety has always been the fact that Shepherd has shown zero interest in doing anything to actually hurt him to this point, saying instead that she needs him alive for some unknown purpose. Maybe this is the time in which some of those secrets become clear.
If that is the case, let’s go ahead and salute the writers for not making us wait until the very last minute this season to get some further answers on this subject! All you have to do is look at some other shows to know that it could be much worse.
