‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ season 8, episode 13 reaction: Who was arrested, and who died?

NCIS -We heard numerous teases going into Sunday night’s new episode of “NCIS: Los Angeles” entitled “Hot Water” that there would be a number of different surprises at the center of the story. Not only that, but we also heard that there could be serious danger for every single one of the agents. There was the potential for numerous arrests, deaths, and so much more, and it was all due to a vast conspiracy that was orchestrated by the mole and set up to punish members of the team.

So who was the mole? That was the question at the center of the whole story, and it’s something that the series was not quick to give us answers to. We saw Callen, Sam, Deeks, and Granger all get brought in at one point or another; we even saw Granger get stabbed, and there were a few moments in here where we started to think that this character legitimately was killer off. (Luckily, that wasn’t the case.)

Unfortunately, there was one other character who did not make it out of the episode alive: Undersecretary Duggan, otherwise known as one of the few people who could actually help these characters and get them out of this situation in one piece. (Hetty had made some progress with him after their relationship was beyond tense for a while.) Without him, many of them are simply going to have to figure out a way to help themselves. We’ve still got Kensi and Hetty out there in the wind, and they — plus the collective skill of Eric and Nell — may be the only hope that the team has right now.

Overall, this was certainly a thrilling episode of the show, and it’s far from the end given that there were NO answers given over the course of the episode. We still don’t know who the mole is, and now, the majority of the characters are not going to be able to investigate this at all.
