New Year’s Day Marathons: ‘Law & Order: SVU,’ ‘Blue Bloods,’ ‘Star Trek: Voyager,’ and more

Law & Order: SVU logoHappy New Year, everyone! Hopefully, you’re getting a chance to start the new year off right today, and washing away anything bad that may have happened in 2016. We’re sure it was a good year for some people out there, but it’s sure not the general consensus.

Unless you’re into college football or movie marathons (Freeform is giving you the “Harry Potter” movies more or less all day), there’s not all that much out there in terms of quantity of major TV marathons. Yet, there are some good ones that are still very much worth paying attention to.

“Star Trek: Voyager” – If you love this particular installment of the series, BBC America is going to be putting this on the air tonight through early tomorrow morning! Dive in.

“The Walking Dead” – Much like the “Star Trek” installment, the AMC comic adaptation is going to be airing a marathon of its own today — which is the continuation of one that we told you about previously.

“Law & Order: SVU” – Benson fans unite! You can see old episodes of the classic crime series from now until 11:00 p.m. Eastern.

“Blue Bloods” – ION is airing the Tom Selleck from 1:00 p.m. Eastern until midnight.

“Pawn Stars” – History will be running some installments of the show from now until midnight.

“Real Housewives of Atlanta” – Leading up to the new episode airing tonight at 8:00 p.m., Bravo is bringing you a wide array of new episodes from this season. Hopefully, you find them a good way to catch up on the drama if you’re behind!

Following today, the majority of TV out there is going to be back to normal, and you’ll have a chance to check out some of your favorite shows once more in the standard timeslots.

For now, be sure to tell us in the comments what you’re planning on watching today! (Photo: NBC.)
