‘The Bachelor’ spotlight: Elizabeth Sandoz has a past with Nick Viall from Jade Roper’s wedding

Elizabeth -While this season of “The Bachelor” featuring Nick Viall doesn’t necessarily have a returning contestant like we saw the past couple of years, there is something else that it is bringing to the table when it comes to drama: Someone with a brief romantic history with our leading man! It’s notable going into the show, and we cannot say that upon first hearing about it, we were very confident in Elizabeth Sandoz’s ability to make it far this season.

We’re going to talk about this a little further in our latest spotlight below, while at the same time trying to figure out who she is as a person.

Age – 29.

Occupation – Doula. What is that? Basically, she is a woman who assists during childbirth and helps to provide care after they are born. While not a nurse in the same form of some of the other contestants this season, we’d classify her in the same category. It’s funny, because this is usually a much more notable profession than it is this season.

Location – Las Vegas! Basically, whenever we think of Sin City and the show at this point we think of really cheesy dates, and also Haley and Emily Ferguson because they had a date that was all about their hometown with one of them getting sent home in the end. It was awkward.

Things to know – She’s got a ton of tattoos (though none of them are visible in the photo above ) … and of course there’s all of the stuff with Nick. Here’s what happened, as much of it is already out there — the two have a romantic history that dates back to Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert’s wedding, which ironically was featured on an ABC special. Elizabeth, specifically, was Jade’s Maid of Honor. She and Nick close and something happened that night. Beyond that, we don’t wanna know, but they definitely know each other in some shape or form.

On a separate note, we find it very funny that her answer to “If I never had to ______, I would be very happy” from her ABC bio is “kill someone.” Unless she was hired to be a trained assassin, why is she going to need to do this?

How is she actually going to do? – Here is what we can’t get around: If Elizabeth really wanted to be with Nick and thought there was a life-changing spark there, Jade and Nick clearly know each other and are connected through the franchise. There was an easy way for them to communicate if she really wanted to do that, but it never happened. While she could be very nice and we could be wrong, there’s a part of this that feels like “I want to be on the show and this is a good way to do that.”
