What trainwreck contestant from ‘The Bachelor’ are you? Take our new quiz!

While you patiently wait for the premiere of “The Bachelor” coming to ABC on Monday, January 3, here is a little bit of fun to get you through the holiday season: A new quiz with a very simple premise: What trainwreck contestant are you?

Obviously, there are many people out there who watch the show for the love story, and we believe that the vast majority of the time, you want to root for the leading man to find happiness at the end (well, at least the majority of the time). Yet, along the way, part of the joy of this show is seeing the contestants who stumble, cause drama, act ridiculous, or in one case inexplicably win despite a number of women telling the guy that he is making a terrible decision.

The quiz below is fairly short, and with the understanding that not everyone out there may remember contestants like Erica Rose or Michelle from Jake Pavelka’s season, we’ve narrowed down the field to mostly people from the past few years. Also, we’re using the “trainwreck” word lightly — we’re just talking about people as we see them on TV! We don’t know what they’re like in real life. Think of this as a tongue-in-cheek way to have fun while drinking some wine (hey, “The Bachelor” has its own wine now) while you await the arrival of Christmas. Or, who knows? Maybe you’re checking this out after the holiday season or while the show is actually airing. Maybe it’ll distract you from some of the more-boring dates.

Anyway, have fun! The new season of “The Bachelor” is going to be premiering on ABC on Monday, January 2. As you probably know by now, Nick Viall is your new lead!
