Before we dive too far into this particular “NCIS: Los Angeles” article, let’s start off with a hearty Happy Holidays! Hope everyone out there is enjoying the day and celebrating with food, family, and a little bit of TV.
Unfortunately, there’s not going to be a new episode of the CBS series coming on the air to aid in the festivities. Did you really expect it to be on? This is not exactly the time in which networks are going to choose to broadcast new programming, unless of course it is something that they are really just looking to blow off since they think it’s going to be canceled. The ratings for this show aren’t anywhere near in that sort of danger at the moment.
The show is going to return with new installments come Sunday, January 8, a time that makes sense given that the show’s also not going to be airing a new installment on New Year’s Day, either. This is all very much about picking the right time to make sure that the episodes shine, and also doing everything that you can in order to tell some great stories in the process.
Unfortunately, we cannot tell you too much about the upcoming episodes beyond the continued presence of Bar Paly as Anna, though we could see a few surprises mixed in there as well. “Kulinda” is the title of the first episode back, but beyond that, almost everything else remains up in the air and hopefully, we’ll have some further information regarding this and everything else over the coming days / weeks.
For now, happy holidays! Enjoy the break, and if you miss the show, hopefully you’ve got some old episodes on your DVR.
