‘Madam Secretary’ season 3, episode 10 video: Presidential pandemonium
The final episode of “Madam Secretary” in the calendar year is going to air on Sunday night, and it’s safe to say that this one is going to be important. By the end of “The Race,” you may finally get a few more answers regarding precisely who is going to win the Presidential Election that’s been plagued, at least to date, with a wide array of different problems.
Basically, at this precise point in time on the series we’re at a place where it is up to Congress in order to determine whether President Dalton, Sam Evans, or someone else gets into office, and based on the sneak peek below, a vote being moved up early could cause some chaos for the Dalton Administration given that it’s happening right around the time in which tensions are the highest between Iran and Israel. If war somehow does end up erupting between these parties, it means that it could ultimately become significantly harder for Elizabeth to get precisely what she ends up wanting out the next four years of her life.
As for the other sneak peeks, they allude a little bit more to a family gathering that is happening for all of the McCord family members in honor of it being the holidays. There was understandably some uncertainty as to whether or not it was going to work out given the present state of things with all of the political upheaval, but it is all-systems-go for Elizabeth and the family shows up. While there, Henry’s niece Sarah hands down some news about joining the military after taking a break from school.
The one thing that is perhaps the most interesting about the sneak peeks today is actually what’s not included more so than what is: There is no mention at all in here of what’s going to be happening with Russell, given that he had seemingly a heart attack at the end of this past episode. Hopefully, there’s going to be some sort of update coming on his condition in the near future.
