Is ‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ season 8, episode 11 new tonight on CBS?

For everyone out there who enjoys “NCIS: Los Angeles” — and why wouldn’t you — we do come bearing some rather unfortunate news: There is no new episode coming up on CBS tonight. Given the fact that there are new episodes of both “Madam Secretary” and “Elementary,” it’s probably understandable if you are a wondering what in the world is really going on here with this show.

Luckily, we’re here to offer up some sort of an answer, and it’s rather simple: Blame the decision from CBS to celebrate “The Dick Van Dyke Show” with a special that will be airing in it’s place. Given that the LL Cool J – Chris O’Donnell series is so far ahead in terms of its episode count, this is a way to give viewers out there a little bit of nostalgia, while at the same time also evening things out a little bit between the three “NCIS” shows.

As for what’s coming up next week, “Tidings We Bring” is the winter finale, and it will give you a chance to see a few different things. Bar Paly will be returning once more as Anna, and will be partnering with Sam while Deeks teams up with Callen — it’s a little bit of a change-up, and one likely brought up as a direct result of everything still going on with Kensi. She may be getting better, but there is quite a bit of work still to be done in terms of getting her back out into the field.

This particular episode will also have a heavy cyber-crime component to it, so they will be battling that before they have a chance to celebrate the holidays, but for right now we the fans have to go without a new episode tonight.
