‘The X Factor’ UK spoilers: What Saara Aalto, 5 After Midnight, Matt Terry will sing Saturday

Saara -We’re one day away from Saturday’s “X Factor” episode, and for the time being, ITV is still being as hush-hush as possible when it comes to revealing what some of the duet pairings are going to be. We’ve heard rumors (we’re definitely excited for Saara’s duet, if true), but we’re not going to focus too much on that stuff in this article given that we’re focusing here on confirmed music for the episode.

ITV announced these songs earlier today; note that there will be more performances on Sunday’s episode, but we don’t have any further information in regards to that right now.

Saara Aalto, “Everybody Wants to Rule the World” – We’re certainly excited to see what she does with the Tears for Fears classic, which has been reinvented so many times over the years. There are ways that she can turn this song completely on its head, and make it suddenly seem modern again.

For reference of one particularly good performance of the song, take a look below at what Brian Justin Crum did on “America’s Got Talent” with it over the summer.

5 After Midnight, “Crazy in Love” – The Beyonce song is one of the most well-known hits of the past 15 or so years — and at this point, it’s crazy to think that this song came out all the way back in 2003. It’s got almost everything that a good 5 After Midnight performance would want, from a variety of different styles to iconic dancing to a really good beat. It should help them to stand out.

Matt Terry, “Take Me Home” – This is a song that’s been in Matt’s wheelhouse over the past several weeks: Soulful, powerful lyrics that he can connect to and establish that bond with the audience. Given that it’s Jess Glynne and she remains popular throughout the UK, this should be the sort of performance Matt needs to move out of his bottom two status at present.
