‘Bones’ season 12: David Boreanaz directing series finale

Bones -The series finale of “Bones” is going to be coming your way at some point in the spring, and we know that when it airs, you are going to get a chance to see a worthy man at the helm in David Boreanaz.

As the photos on Twitter below confirm, the series star is going to be in charge of directing the last episode of the show, which reportedly is entitled “The End is the End” and should mark a fitting conclusion to the past twelve years of fun, innovative storytelling. We’re going to have a chance to potentially see numerous cameos, tributes to seasons gone by, and also potentially a good bit of danger to go along with all of this.

One thing that we are especially grateful for at the moment is the fact that this show announced its final season many months ago, so this is not a situation where they are having to scramble to put together an ending that makes some sort of sense. It’ll be the opposite in that sense of “Castle,” another long-running crime drama that did very much need more of a proper end than it received.

Beyond reporting this, we’re not sure how much more we really want to say about this final episode, given that for the most part, a big part of the fun of the show is going to be finding out what the story is like when it does actually air, and what sort of story surprises the producers are going to have in store for us.

As for all of the other episodes, of course we’ll be promoting those extensively. Stay tuned!
