‘The View’ loses ‘Fuller House’ star Candace Cameron Bure

View -It doesn’t seem like “The View” can keep a consistent panel no matter how hard the show tries. Not long after losing Raven-Symone to a revival of “That’s So Raven,” it looks as though Candace Cameron Bure, who is already starring in a “Full House” revival entitled “Fuller House,” is also saying goodbye.

Speaking this morning on the daytime talk show, Bure explained that it “wasn’t an easy decision to leave” but that she “already had [some] commitments to Fuller House and the Hallmark Channel. Because of the success of those, [those] commitments have become even greater.” Basically, she wants to have some time in order to have a life, and we imagine all of the traveling and work on these multiple projects makes that fairly difficult.

While sometimes you raise an eyebrow over people leaving “The View,” this one does make some sense given that Bure seemingly got everything that she wanted out of being a part of the show, and her career’s arguably in the best place that it’s been ever since “Full House” was on the air. She’s got other projects, and “Fuller House” in particular is such a hit that the show is probably not going away anytime soon.

For “The View,” we imagine that the struggle now is going to be figuring out if they want to try and bring on a new panelist in the middle of the season, or rotate out a series of different people until the summer, where they can look at tweaking the show with new panelists and a different feel. If they did this, they wouldn’t be the first show given that “Live! with Kelly” has more or less been without a consistent co-host since the spring and doesn’t seem to be in any hurry to change things up.
