‘Bull’ episode 8 preview: Is something going on with Bull, his ex?

For anyone out there who is excited to see where some of the story is going to head on “Bull” Tuesday night, we’ve got a substantial amount of evidence coming in!

As you may have heard before now, this episode is entitled “Too Perfect,” and the primary focus of the story getting the chance to meet for the first time Yara Martinez (“Jane the Virgin”) is Isabella Colon, ex-wife of Dr. Jason Bull and estranged sister of Benny Colon (Freddy Rodriguez). We’ve shared this before, but it bears repeating that when we spoke earlier this year to Rodriguez, he joined that Bull got him in the divorce while his ex-wife went away.

The character will be reentering Bull’s life as a result of her facing a wrongful death lawsuit; while she may have differences of opinion aplenty with Benny and Bull (by the way, Benny and Bull sounds like a great name for a pub) , she recognizes that the two parties are exceptionally good at their job. It’s too bad that the problem here could become personal issues rising back to the surface, and causing all of them to become distracted from the task at hand. Picture fighting — plenty of fighting.

The promo below offers up a little more insight on what is happening between Isabella and Bull, and there is a moment at the very end of it that suggests that the two could become romantic again … even if it’s just for a passing second. It remains to be seen if this is the promo just yanking our chain in terms of when they decided to end the scene, or there could be something more there. (This is why it’s called a promo, people! It may actually promote the story better than any other “Bull” promo so far this season.)

Either way, it’s difficult to argue the notion that in terms of personal backstory, this may be the most significant episode so far this season.
