‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 13 spoilers: First teases on winter finale
For those of you wondering precisely when the winter finale of “Grey’s Anatomy” is going to air, we can give you that answer now: Thursday, November 17. What we can also tell you is that this episode is entitled “You Haven’t Done Nothin’,” and it will be the culmination of many different storylines that you’ve seen play out over the course of season 13 to date.
Let’s start things off first and foremost with a certain Dr. Alex Karev, given that almost everything with him so far this season stems from what happened to Andrew DeLuca at the end of last season. In the winter finale, he’ll be feeling as though he will be set to face huge consequences as the result of everything he did, and in that moment he’ll make an enormous decision about his future with shattering consequences across the board.
Meanwhile, the Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital is also going to have to deal with a sudden influx of countless patients after a building collapse. Disasters are something that often tends to happen in big episodes, so we suppose in this case it’s better that it’s happening away from the hospital then at it — hey, we’ve seen that a few times in the past as well. Shonda likes to keep these characters on their toes.
Finally, the last thing that we can say here is that there will be an eruption of tension between Bailey and Webber, and of course we wonder if it’s tied in any way to Catherine Avery’s recent suggestion to her that the hospital is lagging behind in terms of its teaching. If Webber is not doing his job well, it’s probably so much easier on Catherine to pawn this off on Bailey rather than handle it herself as his wife.
