‘American Horror Story: Roanoke’ episode 8 preview: Who else is set to die?

So far through several episodes, “American Horror Story: Roanoke” has established a culture of one thing more so than anything else: Death. Characters come and go almost like they are fluttering on the wind, and moving into the next all-new episode we only expect things to get worse. This is “American Horror Story” after all and would it be as much fun if everyone was rolling around in sunshine and eating rainbows?

The big thing that makes the upcoming stories all the more challenging is simply that there are only so many characters left. We’ve seen such a wide array of people killed off that we’re going to have to focus in on who’s left. We do have the real Butcher out there, and we presume that moving forward, this could be one of the biggest threats of all. Just remember how scary Kathy Bates’ imitation version was.

Promo – This doesn’t really give too much away, other than that more lives could be hanging in the balance due to the hillbillies. We will say that they do have a rather-funny line in here as they mention that they’re “in America,” and therefore they have TV and they saw the original show. Think of this as another reminder of the sort of carnage that will probably carry through the remainder of the season … but didn’t you see that coming anyway?

One other thing to keep in the back of your mind is that there is apparently one final twist coming in the finale. We don’t know what that is, but if it’s anything like what we’ve seen so far, it’s almost surely going to be nuts. It’s certainly possible that it could be all about the one survivor at the end of all this, provided what we’re seeing is actually real.
