‘Once Upon a Time’ season 6, episode 4 sneak peeks: Dr. Jekyll’s backstory and more
With Sunday night’s new episode of “Once Upon a Time” just over a day away, we’re of course excited to take a closer look at what is coming up during “Strange Case.” This is an installment that is important for many reasons, but one of the biggest ones simply has to do with finally getting a little more information on a certain Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.
The first sneak peek below takes you deep within the character’s past, when he was working on an elixir that could separate the good part of a man’s personality from the bad. It was a noble idea at the time, but he was warned that this could be too dangerous. Maybe he listened, but he didn’t take it seriously enough to change his ways before it was too late.
Flash-forward to the present, and Mr. Hyde is tearing through Storybrooke with some sort of mysterious motive. Meanwhile, Rumpelstiltskin may have some sort of role in all of this since he does have his finger in all the pies.
The second sneak peek offers up your first look at something we’ve been certainly interested in seeing on the show: The new look for Robert Carlyle! Over the summer he cut his locks to do the “Trainspotting” sequel, so we were curious to see how the show was going to write that in … or if they were going to make the guy have to strut around sporting wigs for the entirety of the season. After a certain point, we figured that would start to get awkward.
There is a reason for Rumple sporting a new look, but unfortunately, that is something that the show isn’t altogether interested in giving away — at least for the time being.
