‘Agents of SHIELD’ season 4, episode 3 preview: Can Simmons save Agent May?
Tonight, “Agents of SHIELD” gave us a little more insight into the supernatural world and the whole “what’s in the box?” mystery, but at the same time, there were many other struggles across the board. For one, Daisy had to figure out what to do about her Ghost Rider problem. She knew more about him than anyone has before, and this ended up sending Robbie Reyes into some uncharted waters.
Unfortunately, we also saw Melinda May suffer more and more as a result of what happened to her in the premiere. Judging from the synopsis below for October 11 episode, it appears as though things are going to go from bad to worse. Hopefully, Simmons and Radcliffe are going to do whatever they can to bring her back to her normal self:
“As Coulson, Mack and Fitz attempt to track down and neutralize a rogue group looking to end Inhuman Registration worldwide, Simmons and Dr. Radcliffe only have hours to save May before she succumbs forever to her mysterious illness.”
Just in case you are wondering why there is no episode airing on ABC next week, the simple answer to that is the Vice-Presidential Debates taking place. There’s a little bit of fun irony there. We are probably at a very political place on the show right now thanks to the new Director and what he is doing publicly with SHIELD, and we’re also certianly in a very political period of time for our country.
