‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 7: Lucy Hale shares photo from Troian Bellisario’s directorial debut
Even though “Pretty Little Liars” may be at present airing the final episodes of the summer, the cast and crew on set are not taking the same exact breaks that Freeform is on the other side. They still have several more episodes still to come this year before wrapping production, and the crazy thing is that they could be wrapping things up for the series as opposed to just the season. It’s still rather-weird to digest the idea that the show really could be coming to an end before long.
What we’ve got for you below is evidence of one cool thing happening when the show returns in the new year, and it’s something that has not been done to date: Troian Bellisario directing! Like her fiance Patrick J. Adams over on “Suits,” she is getting to showcase some of her other skills behind the camera. The photo below is from her castmate Lucy Hale, who seems very excited for her to have this opportunity — and rightfully so.
Let’s hope that there are some major revelations dropped over the course of Troian’s episode, but that is also something that you could say about almost any episode that is coming up after the hiatus. If it does turn out that this is the final season, there are a lot of loose ends that the show is going to need to tie up — and also some questions that need to be answered.
The next new episode, entitled “The Wrath of Kahn,” airs Tuesday. We’ll have some further news leading up to it soon.
