‘Big Brother 18’ live feed spoilers: Friday’s show; James tells Corey, Nicole about Paulie

This afternoon has been slightly livelier in the “Big Brother” house than yesterday, not that this was altogether difficult to do. We’ve seen some species of algae more exciting than yesterday’s feeds for the most part. It’s been a crazy week — we’ll cut them some slack on that.

James spills the beans to Corey, Nicole – Remember that whole plan to make Corey and Nicole super-paranoid before Paulie’s eviction? It continues to take some shape. This time around, it came via James telling the two that Paulie is campaigning for votes (even after saying he wouldn’t campaign against Corey), and that he may ask Nicole for a sympathy vote to try to stick around in the house.

Obviously, that’s not happening, but Nicole and Corey acting nervous is far more entertaining than seeing them in almost any other state … and let’s just leave it at that. Also, it gives us something to watch on the feeds.

Is it possible Paulie’s got the round-trip ticket? – We’re starting to think so, given that Friday’s show is a special county-fair themed episode, which seems to be what was filmed earlier this week in the backyard. CBS released a synopsis for it already:

“Houseguests will have the opportunity to compete for prizes, perks and power, and seven-time Grammy-winning reggae artist Ziggy Marley stops by to surprise the houseguests with a performance of his single “Weekend’s Long,” from his new self-titled sixth studio album.”

Let’s pull an idea out of the ol’ conspiracy cap: If Paulie didn’t have the ticket, maybe this could have been a Battle Back show. We find it weird that CBS would just air a special show for a silly county fair and a reggae singer, even if we love Ziggy. We caution this theory with a reminder that we were about 85% positive that Da’Vonne had the ticket earlier this season because of her envelope number coinciding with a poster in the house. Somewhere Allison Grodner probably points and laughs at every person who comes up with a nutty theory from the outside.
