‘Scorpion’ season 3 stars Katharine McPhee, Elyes Gabel split

Mrs. Carter: The romance is reportedly over off-screen for Katharine McPhee and Elyes Gabel.

This “Scorpion” couple are a pair that we were really rooting for both on screen and off screen. McPhee and Gabel, who are currently in the process of filming the third season of “Scorpion“, have split though a source tells Just Jared that they are still on good terms:

“It’s amicable and they remain friends … They’re still friends and work together almost every day. They still love each other but just couldn’t make things work.”

Ultimately, it is certainly a good thing that they remain on good terms given that they are going to continue working together on the CBS series. The two dated for two years, which largely encompasses the first two seasons on the show. Hopefully, both of them will continue to find ways to be happy while building a great work relationship.

This split happens at a time in which their characters of Paige and Walter could potentially face some revelations in their own romantic lives. At the end of this past season of the show, Walter realized that he did have feelings for Paige, and as a result of that did not want to wait around on confessing these to her. Therefore, the closing minutes were him driving to tell her how he feels (on her romantic weekend away).
