‘Homeland’ season 6 spoilers: A change coming for Carrie’s daughter
Given that young actors are often recast for many different shows out there, we have to say that there is not too much about the latest “Homeland” report that surprises us at all.
According to TVLine, the series is in the process of recasting the role of Carrie’s daughter, and is looking for a four-year old Franny to bring a little bit of a larger role to the show. There’s not too much else known about how she will factor in, but you can go ahead and assume that Claire Danes’ character could have a seemingly active role with her throughout the coming season. Given what we’ve seen from Carrie over the years, though, in turns of her behavioral patterns, that may not be a good thing.
Aside from this, it’s already been reported that “Homeland” is moving to New York for the coming sixth season after spending a significant stretch of time overseas, and from here we imagine there will be a story with some different international ramifications of its own. No matter where the show is, the global community does tend to be involved. We have a hard time at present thinking that this is going to be changing.
The one other thing known about the new “Homeland” at present is simply a matter of scheduling. Showtime is not putting this batch of episodes on until 2017, sot here will be some further time to sit around and speculate as to what is coming up next. That also leaves more time for casting.
