‘The Voice UK’ season 6 sets will.i.am return

VoiceWhen the sixth season of “The Voice UK” premieres a little bit later in the year, it is certainly going to have some changes. For one, it will be on a new network in ITV, and we imagine that there will be some new coaches. We just know for now that Emma Willis is returning as a host, and that will.i.am will be back as one of the people on the panel.

In a statement today, the “Scream & Shout” performer confirmed his participation in the new season, and added that he will also be taking “The Voice Kids,” a spin-off that has played well in many different parts of the world, for a spin:

“I’m delighted to be continuing The Voice UK on ITV and being a voice of direction and guidance for the usual suspects,” he said. “And I’m thrilled to add The Voice Kids to the mix. I know The Voice switched to ITV, but I’m not going to BREXIT The Voice UK. I’m happy to make ITV my home now. I love the UK.”

Yep, so Brexit jokes are officially a thing. While we know not everyone loves Will as a member of the panel, we’re actually more than fine to have him aboard here given that he has been consistently solid in this role; not only that, but he has been consistently one of the few coaches who has supported his acts following the show.

What do you think: Does keeping Will on board make you more excited for this show, or are you at a point where you could really care less about the specific panel?
