‘NCIS: New Orleans’ season 3 spoilers: ‘Graceland’ alum on board as new series regular

The third season of “NCIS: New Orleans” is facing at least some change this fall. For one, it is going to be moving to a new timeslot in 10:00 p.m. Eastern time to accommodate for the new series “Bull” featuring Michael Weatherly. This is the first time that CBS has split up the flagship show from its spin-off, and we will have to see precisely what happens commercially.

From here, we now know that we are also going to be meeting a new character to go along with it! According to TVLine, “Graceland” alum Vanessa Ferlito is going to be appearing in a new series-regular role as an FBI special agent who comes down to New Orleans by order of DC. From here, she is going to realize incredibly quickly that this is a city that has its own way of doing things, especially since she is a by-the-book agent who tends to follow the rules.

In a statement to the aforementioned website, executive producer Brad Kern had the following to say:

“We’re beyond excited to have Vanessa join our show and are look forward to adding her distinctive personality and edge to our amazing NCIS: New Orleans cast.”

Let’s just hope that this new season proves itself to be as entertaining to the first two, and we’re confident that the show has some further fun stories, twists, and turns that it is going to be presenting to us in the very near future. Stay tuned for more over the course of the summer…
