‘The Walking Dead’ season 7: Did Andrew Lincoln, Steven Yeun, everyone else film a death scene?

twdWhile “The Walking Dead” may exist within a world where a zombie apocalypse is possible, clearly the folks over at AMC are very much realists when it comes to the way in which they are handling the issue of precisely who Negan kills.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, a grand total of a whopping eleven different actors have all filmed death scenes for the show, which is a pretty staggering number when you stop and think about it. Part of the reason for this is because of the heavy amount of scrutiny that lies around the show’s Atlanta set, as there are constantly fans nearby trying to take pictures, and some have even used drones in an effort to capture some information regarding what is happening with some of the characters.

Does all of this change the way filming is done? Absolutely, since it creates more of a battle between production and fans. We do understand the desire to find out information in advance — it’s flattering, in a way, that so many care — but at the same time, we don’t love that it has become so widespread now that it actually interferes with filming in some way. We just would prefer that the show has its own little world in which filming is done, and then another where the fans all congregate and have a chance to discuss further some of what they expect to see.

The new season is going to premiere at some point in October, so rest assured that we will have a whole lot of talk about Negan before then.
