Fox 2016 Fall Schedule: ‘Scream Queens’ season 2, ‘Gotham’ season 3, ‘Empire’ score predictable premieres

Fox -

While yesterday NBC unleashed a whole lot of bells and whistles in coming up with their full list of fall premiere dates, the game really cannot be said for Fox. They have just unleashed their own fall schedule, and for the most part, we’d actually consider this one to be fairly boring.

Take a look at the full schedule below; while it may not be eventful, we have a feeling that this one is at least going to be a relief to those of you who like to keep things fairly simple. As mentioned in prior articles, all times listed are Eastern standard. Adjust accordingly for your region.

Monday, September 19

8:00 – Gotham

9:00 – Lucifer

Tuesday, September 20

8:00 – Brooklyn Nine-Nine

8:30 – New Girl

9:00 – Scream Queens

Wednesday, September 21

8:00 – Lethal Weapon (new drama)

9:00 – Empire

Thursday, September 22

8:00 – Rosewood

9:00 – Pitch (new drama)

Friday, September 23

8:00 – Hell’s Kitchen

9:00 – The Exorcist (new drama)

Sunday, September 25

7:30 – Bob’s Burgers

8:00 – The Simpsons

8:30 – Son of Zorn (new comedy)

9:00 – Family Guy

9:30 – The Last Man on Earth

Like we said, fairly straightforward, no? The biggest surprise to us is only that we’re starting off the season slightly early on September 19, at least compared to past years. That’s great in that it reduces the overall waiting for some shows, and we will absolutely celebrate that.

On tap for midseason, Fox has a number of different shows, including returning hits like “Bones” and “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” along with the premiere of many others, whether it be something like “24: Legacy” that is a reboot of an existing property, or a comedy in “The Mick” that is entirely new. It should be a very eventful year ahead for the network!
