‘Girl Meets World’ season 3 spoilers: William Daniels returning as Mr. Feeny

For everyone out there who continues to love your “Girl Meets World” nostalgia, great news: You’re going to see more of Mr. Feeny on the show moving forward!

In a post on Twitter, Daniels confirmed that he will be turning up in an upcoming episode of the show’s third season, which may end up being in August. The actor has played Cory Matthews’ famed mentor on several occasions already on the Disney Channel series, but it’s always nice to see him back onscreen. The sames for other characters like Eric Matthews and Shawn Hunter; we know that the torch has been passed effectively to Riley and Maya at this point, but there’s just something sweet about seeing these old characters back, regardless of whatever the capacity is. It’ll be the same way if there is ever a third generation of this show and you’re seeing someone like Riley or Maya with their own kids.

The new season of “Girl Meets World” started weeks ago, and we’re getting into an episode entitled “Girl Meets Permanent Record” Friday that will be dealing with Riley realizing the importance of grades in high school. From here, you will get a chance to see stories about friendships, possible romance, and an arc about a ski lodge that could be very familiar to longtime fans of the show.

As you would expect, we’ll have some further news the moment it becomes available, and hopefully that will include some more returning characters!
