‘The X Factor’ UK auditions reportedly lead to proposal on stage

The new season of “The X Factor” is already filming, and apparently, love was in the air during at least one of the room auditions!

According to the Mirror, one of the auditions during filming actually led to a proposal, with a source having the following to say:

“They told the judges they’ve only been together about six months but they moved in together after a few weeks … It was all quite out of the blue at The X Factor, the man ended up proposing in front of the cameras and thankfully his girlfriend said yes.”

As for whether or not the two were any good when it comes to their performance, that remains to be seen, but apparently they auditioned as a duo. This ultimately seems like one of those things where if nothing else, they got to have a proposal on live TV! Typically, though, we don’t really think that this is absolutely the best time for it, since there are so many other things happening and priorities that are needed by many people trying out. For example, you want to work hard to ensure that nothing goes off without a hitch vocally, so do you really want to have the added pressure of knowing the your potential fiancee says yes?

The new season of “The X Factor” will premiere a little bit later this year, and we’ll have some more news when it comes to prospective auditions moving forward. Stay tuned…
