‘Game of Thrones’ season 6, episode 6 preview: A chilling Natalie Dormer photo

Thrones -Is the High Sparrow getting close to his day of reckoning on “Game of Thrones“? We’ve certainly seen some plans be placed for a big coup in King’s Landing, but on this show, you never quite know what is going to happen.

One thing that we certainly do imagine being different about Margaery Tyrell’s present circumstances than Cersei’s is that we have an incredibly hard time right now thinking that the Walk of Atonement will actually happen here. While not everyone may be thrilled about it, Margaery is the Queen. Is the opposition to the High Sparrow really going to allow this to go off without a hitch? This could be a defining moment for House Lannister, and for Cersei in particular, this could be an opportunity for vengeance.

Personally, we really would not mind if we spend a good bit of time in this episode on this particularly story, at least provided that it brings the High Sparrow’s story to an end. This has not been our favorite on the show over the years, and there are many different reasons for that. The biggest one is that this story really emerged out of nowhere not too long ago, and compared to other storylines that have been around since the first or second season, really doesn’t feel as important to the grand scale of things. Unless something is born out of this that changes the game in Westeros for good, we are going to wonder why we really bothered with this for such a long span of time.

We’ll have another photo preview for this episode tomorrow, and with that, we’ll focus on one other key character that could be involved in “Blood of My Blood” in a huge way.
