‘The Walking Dead’ season 7: Norman Reedus hypes further what lies ahead

Walking DeadThe seventh season of “The Walking Dead” is going to more than likely air on AMC come October, and when the show returns, we know that there will be some fans ready to pounce regarding the big cliffhanger reveal. We all want to know who Negan killed! Fans have been left with a bitter taste in their mouth over how the whole arrival and killing of a major character was handled, even though multiple cast members and producers have done their part to make it clear that it’ll be worth the wait.

In trying to explain the showrunners’ decision, and also how strong the season 7 premiere will be, Norman Reedus is the latest to speak out on the subject to Entertainment Weekly:

“They’re earning it … Trust me. I think probably the planet is going to explode. That’s my feeling. It’s so good. Every time we go on a promotional tour talking about what’s going to come, we all say ‘Oh my God, it’s amazing. I can’t wait for you to see it.’ But it continually surprises me how this show grows and is put together and the execution of it – no pun intended. It blows my mind. It just continually reaches a new plateau every single time, and this is the highest plateau we’ve ever been. So just wait. It’s worth the wait, trust me.”

We have to hope that Daryl makes it through the current state of crisis okay, though we want to assume he would because we can only imagine what the reaction to many fans could be if Daryl was actually killed off. There’d be panic, rage, and so much more all over the streets!
