‘Chicago Fire’ season 4 finale spoilers: Monica Raymund teases more Dawson – Casey conflict

Chicago Fire -Chicago Fire” is going to be wrapping up its fifth season on Tuesday night, and there’s going to be all sorts of drama that unfolds over the course of the hour. We’re going to still be reeling from the death of Jimmy’s brother, and to go along with that, Boden’s decisions that led to certain events. We’re also going to see Dawson at one point in grave danger; hopefully, she will be able to make it out of that, given that her priorities have very much changed over the course of the past few weeks. She’s been in the process of fostering Louie, but at some point along the way, she’s going to have some tough conversations with Casey over her inclusion of him in the process.

In teasing up this particular story in a new interview with E! News, show star Monica Raymund had the following message to pass along:

“I’m still figuring it out. We see that Casey and Dawson still have a lot of friction. We see him come over and see if he can be part of the family because this is something she decided she has to do, no matter what, just like the independent and stubborn woman that she is … I think we’ll see them try to manage that and hopefully they can figure out how to be a family together.”

We hope that Dawson, Casey, and also Louie figure out a way to make all of this work, mostly because of the fact that we have seen enough conflict and pain from some of these people already. Just look at the history the past few years.
