‘Shark Tank’ video: Will KidRunner evolve the stroller industry in big way?

Shark Tank -We’re here now with our final preview for Friday night’s “Shark Tank,” and this time around, we are focusing on something in KidRunner that we were admittedly a little bit critical on in our first preview article. Our main issue with it was mostly that it was a stroller innovation for runners / joggers that you were unable to watch your kids with while using.

While we suppose that criticism is still there, we do come out of watching the preview video below feeling a little bit better about the product than we did at first glance. What we like about the presentation first and foremost is the repeated use of the word “safe,” stressing that this is their priority for both the user and the child. this isn’t being marketed as some way for runners to still run while dealing with a kid; instead, it’s viewed as a comfortable, safe alternative for the kid in comparison to some other products that are out there. It’s being sold with their safety in mind first and foremost.

Also, it looks to be a fairly solid design, and the fact that marathon runners have used this before is impressive.

Are we guaranteeing that a Shark will make a deal on this? Far from it still, mostly because this is a highly competitive industry, and there’s still no real evidence just yet that it will sell on the mass market. It’s a gamble, and a Shark has to be comfortable with that.
