‘Outlander’ season 2, episode 2 preview: ‘Not in Scotland Anymore’ brings change

Outlander -

Through much of the “Outlander” season 2 premiere on Starz, we would say that there was not a tremendous amount of culture shock for Jamie and Claire Fraser. They arrived in France without any sort of dramatic problem, and from there they were then able to assimilate well within the world of the Jacobites. Thank Jared Fraser, coupled with some very present markings on Jamie’s back, for that arrangement working out.

However, next week this culture shock may hit more through “Not in Scotland Anymore.” Jared expressed his surprise over his cousin showing an interest in politics in the premiere, and Jamie’s struggle to adapt to that and life following the Black Jack beatings may rear more of their head in this episode. Not only that, but a rather-familiar face in the Duke of Sandringham could serve to make matters all the messier.

Take a quick look at the synopsis below as per the network:

“Life in Paris is not without its trials as Jamie struggles to triumph over the traumas of his past.  A fortunate meeting with Jacobite leader Prince Charles presents opportunities, while the Duke of Sandringham’s presence brings complications.”

There is no mention of Frank Randall within this, but that does not mean he will be absent in this episode, either. Take this as a thematic snapshot; story-wise, we imagine there will be many plot developments that rise to the surface over the course of the next hour. As soon as there is some more updates on this story to share, rest assured that we will have them for you here.
