‘Mistresses’ season 4 spoilers: Is another shakeup coming to April’s love life?

For all of you out there wondering just what is going to be coming in terms of romance on “Mistresses” season 4, we now have a little more of an answer.

Per a new report from TVLine, actor / comedian Ian Harvie of “Transparent” has been cast in the role of a financier who ends up hiring April in order to decorate his house, and as a result of that, there could be some complications that lead to tension between her and Marc. As you are more than likely aware of now through watching so much of this show over time, this is not a world where things ever tend to be stable for very long.

There’s no word as to how long Harvie is going to stick around, but we’re intrigued about the show possibly drifting back to its roots a little bit. You do have to remember here, ultimately, that the title of the show is “Mistresses.” There are times when you want to see the show feature some of its characters becoming better people and evolving, but we’re not quite sure how you do that with a program that really seems to be hyping up infidelity in the title alone. It really needs to capitalize on some of these shockers and juicy moments in order to ensure that as many people as possible continue to talk about what they’re bringing to the table.
