‘The Bachelorette’: JoJo Fletcher on progress, relationship now with Ben Higgins

While she may be in the middle of filming “The Bachelorette” for ABC, at some point along the way JoJo Fletcher had a chance to do an interview with “Good Morning America” that aired on ABC Friday morning.

In it, she offered up at least a brief progress report of how the season is going so far, as predictable as some of her comments may be:

“I am connecting with these guys … I’m having fun with them. I’m actually feeling feelings, which I didn’t expect so early on … [I want to end up with someone who] make me feel safe and protected and somebody that I can trust.”

JoJo also commented on what her relationship is with Ben Higgins; specifically, the two don’t have a relationship now and don’t really communicate. She is, however, friends with his fiancee Lauren Bushnell, and the two keep in contact. This really does not surprise us, based on some of the comments we’ve heard from former contestants who say that they spend exponentially more time with each other than they ever do with the lead, who pops in here and there for dates over the course of the entire season.

This season of “The Bachelorette” will likely air in May, and there’s a long time to go until we get there. JoJo hasn’t really even gotten to the part of the show yet where she travels outside of the Los Angeles area to some other spots around America. From there, many shows often go around the world.
