‘The Walking Dead’ season 6, episode 15 preview: ‘East’ and the search for Melissa McBride’s Carol

On Sunday night’s new episode of “The Walking Dead,” we had one of the more shocking hours of the season so far as the Saviors fought back in a big way after everything that has happened over the past couple of episodes, and took the life of a beloved character as a result. Luckily, Abraham and Eugene led a counter-attack that had Daryl and Rosita act quickly enough to ensure that they were fended off, at least for the time being.

So where are we going from here? In the penultimate episode entitled “East,” it looks as though a missing person could send some shockwaves through Alexandria. Take a look at the synopsis below, via SpoilerTV, for a little more insight on what happens as a result:

“When someone goes missing in Alexandria, the community goes on alert, and search parties venture out.”

The end of tonight’s episode further cemented just who that missing person will be in Carol, and what sort of chaos could potentially be coming up now as Rick Grimes and the rest of the crew do what they can to find her. Of course, Daryl will be one of the most proactive in his search given his longstanding bond with her, but here’s the problem: Carol told everyone in the letter that she did not want to be found. If that is the case, why go through the search? It’s out of devotion, but it could have horrifying consequences in the end.
