‘Survivor: Kaoh Rong’ rankings: Are Anna Khait, Michele Fitzgerald in control of Beauty tribe?
Sometimes on “Survivor,” there are easy things to predict, and the current hierarchy on the Gondol a.k.a. Beauty tribe on “Survivor: Kaoh Rong” is one of them. The moment that CBS decided to cast three young women from a similar region of the country who all have some sort of history either watching the show or playing games, it felt like these were going to be people who would work together. Through one episode, that seems to definitely be the case.
So does this mean that Anna, Michele, and Julia are at the top of our rankings? Read on and find out! If this is the first edition of these that you are reading, than know that we rank on the following criteria: Strategy, screen time, edit, challenge ability, effectiveness around camp, and individual threat level.
6. Tai Trang – We really hope it’s not so with Tai since he may be the most interesting, entertaining person on this season. The problem is that he’s already been caught looking for an immunity idol, and had the Beauty tribe went to tribal council he’s the only person we have evidence of being a target. That doesn’t bode well.
5. Nick Maiorano – The reality with Nick is that we haven’t seen a whole lot of him, and that doesn’t make us feel good about his odds to win through one episode. He may be an asset in some of the challenges, but does he have too high an opinion of himself? We’ve seen some of that in confessionals at least.
4. Caleb Reynolds – There are reasons to keep Beast Mode Cowboy around, given everything that was said about him being super-loyal during “Big Brother” and also the notion that he’ll probably work hard around camp and be a bigger target than you. However, he’s not on the inside of an alliance right now, and maybe there is subconscious resentment out there because he’s already played a TV game before. We’ll have to see.
3. Julia Sokolowski – We know she’s a fan of the show, and we’re seeing already that there are some strategic ways she can be an asset. Does she have the killer instinct to win this game? That’s something we’re not quite sure of just yet. We’ve never seen anyone this young get the million dollars at the end, so we’re going to need a little more aggressiveness from her before we label her a potential threat.
2. Anna Khait – In many ways, you could consider the top two on this list to be almost inter-changeable. For Anna, she is someone we expected to be very good coming into this season, and she was through one episode. We know she’s very smart and can be a good strategic thinker. We like everything we’re seeing so far.
1. Michele Fitzgerald – The main reason we have Michele #1 right now is because she surpassed more of our pre-game expectations that we had for her. Our feeling going into this was that Anna was going to be more of the ringleader of the tribe and this alliance, but Michele seemed to be in some ways equally social and savvy. If these two end up running the table, that will be something fun to see.
