‘Hawaii Five-0’ season 6, episode 15 video: New look at Melanie Griffith’s return!

In just over 24 hours, there is going to be a new episode of “Hawaii Five-0” airing on CBS, and if there is one way to describe this hour, it is with the following: Bizarre. There aren’t many other shows where a character would be forced to pretend to be his mother’s wife in order to help her earn a cruise.

Yet, that is the subject of the new sneak peek below, which puts Danny front and center as Melanie Griffith returns as his mom with a rather strange request … and also one of the biggest guilt-trips of all time when she tries to convince him that he needs to go through with this. After all, she reminds him of all of the stuff that she’s done for him over the years, whether it be taking him to activities as a kid to even giving birth to him.

Is this a ridiculous argument? Sure, since these are just the sort of things that come as parents and they’re not favors that are meant to be repaid later. Also, as Danny notes, he’s probably going to need some professional help after going through this plan. We’re not interested in spending too much time analyzing the psychology of this scene, so let’s just say that we’re interested in seeing some of the humor that plays out from this. Given how many hard times we’ve seen Danny go through over the course of the series’ run, the timing does seem right for him to get a little bit more in the way of comedy. Let’s just hope that there is more beyond this scene.
