‘The Originals’ season 3 spoilers: Can Elijah help Hayley turn things around?

Originals -If there are two words that we would use to describe some of the upcoming story for Hayley on “The Originals” this season, these would be them: Downward spiral. Things are going to get much worse for her before they get better in the wake of Jackson’s death, and it is hardly a surprise to hear that she could use some help to get through some of these times.

Of course, this is no ordinary situation that Hayley is in, so it only makes sense that helping her out will prove to be a little more challenging than it would for the average person. To get some other news all about what to expect, then just take a look at the synopsis below for the March 4 episode entitled “An Old Friend Calls”:

“When Klaus (Joseph Morgan) learns that Cortez (guest star Matt Cedeno), an old vampire with a vendetta against him, has arrived in New Orleans, he finds himself forced to deal with this new threat. Meanwhile, when Cortez begins threatening the lives of innocent residents, Vincent (Yusuf Gatewood) has no choice but to help the vengeful vampire in his plan to take down Klaus. Elsewhere, Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) turns to Davina (Danielle Campbell) for her help after several Strix members turn up missing, and Elijah (Daniel Gillies) confronts Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) after learning that she’s been dealing with Jackson’s death in a destructive way.”

So yes, aside from the storyline with Hayley and Jackson, we are going to see a plotline that puts Klaus in a place where he feels particularly betrayed … which really should not be too much of a surprise to anyone out there. After all, this is something he has experienced more times than he can count.
