NBC’s ‘Grimm’ season 5, episode 10 preview: Howling like a wolf

“Grimm” season 5 has told some spooky stories as of late, in between new monsters, the arrival of Eve, and then getting to see more of what she is capable of. These are things that will bleed over into next week’s new episode entitled “Map of the Seven Knights,” which is definitely going to contain quite a bit in terms of Grimm mythology, especially for Nick. We’re going to have monsters, monsters, and other good stuff, while at the same time there will be some politics involved, as well.

To go along with this promo, the synopsis below provides some more news into what you can expect to see over the course of the hour:

“Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) gets a call from a relative in Germany that will bring Nick (David Giuntoli) closer to his ancestors. Things get complicated when the nefarious group Black Claw is also after the same artifacts. Elsewhere, Capt. Renard (Sasha Roiz) helps a mayoral candidate get an edge on his opponent. Meanwhile, Trubel (guest star Jacqueline Toboni) confronts Eve (Bitsie Tulloch) about Nick and Adalind (Claire Coffee).”

We wish that the promo showed some more of the character stuff, but we do understand exactly what NBC is doing in crafting this in such a way. After all, in saying things like the “big bad wolf” and showing transformations, they’re trying to appeal to some of the people who may not be frequent viewers of the show. We just hope that doing things like this will give “Grimm” at least a few more viewers. After all, it certainly needs it.
