‘Shark Tank’ video: Will SmartPlate secure a smart investment?
There’s one thing that we have to get off our chest right now in watching this new sneak peek below for Friday night’s new episode of “Shark Tank“: The technology behind this SmartPlate invention is insane. Really, we’ve never seen anything quite like it. The device is able to weight and tell you some nutritional content of what you are about to eat, and this could be a game-changer for everyone out there trying to lose some weight.
Yet, this is the case of one specific preview in particular that we wish there was some more information on. After watching the sneak peek and hearing more about the product, we honestly still don’t know all that much about the finer details of the company, including what the plan is beyond being on the show to get the word out about it. We assume that it is still in pre-production given that the website is taking pre-orders, so how do you justify the high valuation?
Maybe one of the Sharks will be so impressed by the technology here that they will take a chance on the company. For now, we’re just not sure. There are a contingent of people out there who would probably pick this up, but then there’s also people like us who enjoy food far too much to ever be meticulous about it to the point of weighing everything and determining calorie contents.
